(Please note that there are two versions of dualgen-15, one is DualGen-15 NO PG, the other is DualGen-15 With PG)

Feature:
DualGen-15 NO PG has the maximum strength of FDA approved hair growth stimulator (15% minoxidil), DHT blocker (5% azelaic acid), minoxidil enhancer (0.025% retinol) and hair follicle stimulator (0.001% caffeine).
Propylene glycol (PG or PPG), a major component used in any other minoxidil hair growth product (such Kirkland minoxidil, DS laboratory) as a delivery vehicle, is not used in this product to avoid any scalp irritation such as scalp itchiness and/or inflammation. Glycerin is used as the delivery vehicle. This product is called Dualgen-15 NO PG to be differentiated from the other product called DualGen-15 With PG that has same effective ingredients but compounded using propylene glycol as the delivery vehicle.
Guaranteed Quality: Although products are not made in the States, the quality can be 100% assured as it produced by strictly following cGMP guidelines.

A. Major ingredients:
Minoxidil 15% (9 grams of minoxidil in each bottle; i.e., 150 mg/mL)
Azelaic acid 5% (3 grams of Azelaic acid in each bottle; i.e., 50 mg/mL)
Retinol 0.025% (0.25 mg/mL)
Caffeine 0.001% (0.01 mg/mL)
Ethanol
Glycerin

B. How to use?
Perform a “use test” to ensure you are not allergic to the product by applying a few drops of DualGen-15 NO PG to the triangular cavity of the elbow joint. Do not use this product if redness or inflammation of the spot occurs.
Using the included dropper, apply up to 1 ml of DualGen-15 NO PG to your scalp in the hair loss area in the evening. Once a day should be sufficient for most people. It can be used in conjunction with 5% minoxidil solution such as our EssenGen-5 or DualGen-5，in which case use 5% minoxidil in the morning and DualGen-15 NO PG in the evening; using each product once daily.
Using DualGen-15 NO PG in the evening is recommended because it takes slightly longer time to dry than a 5% minoxidil solution (such as DualGen-5 or EsseGen-5) because of the high concentration of minoxidil and the additional effective ingredients.
If you do want to use this product twice daily, please do it only after it is proved that once a day is not effective enough and you have no side effects to use it twice a day
Use no more than 1 ml each time. You only need to use enough to cover your balding/thinning area with a thin film of the solution. No massage is needed. You can use your finger tip or the tip of the dropper (included) to spread the solution. Try your best to apply the solution directly to your scalp by parting your hair. Otherwise you end up with wasting the product on your hair and it takes long time to dry.

C. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. Are your products FDA approved?
A. No. Among hundreds of products available on the market for hair loss treatment, FDA has only approved two products. One is Rogaine (5% minoxidil), the other is Propecia (1 mg finasteride pill). Any other product is not FDA approved. Some products make statement that sounds like they are FDA approved. In most cases, what it means is that the products contain the FDA approved ingredient--minoxidil. The products themselves are not FDA approved.

Q. If a hair regrowth product is made of natural ingredients, does it mean that it is safer than a product made of synthetic ingredients?
A. No. As a matter of fact, the opposite may be even true. First of all, there is no hair growth products that is made of all natural ingredients. Secondly, natural ingredients are exposed toxic chemicals during extraction such as hexane, ethylacetate, etc. Thirdly, quality control testing of natural ingredients to detect any toxic impurities is very challenge. Most raw materials suppliers never even try to test them. Fourthly, there is very limited or no safety study for the natural ingredients used in some so-called natural hair growth products. Lastly, there are numerous natural lethal stuff such as fungus, moulds, or even plants, or flowers.

Q. Which product should I choose between DualGen-15 NO PG or DualGen-15 With PG?
A. Please be advised that both products are exclusively for men, not for women. So if you are a woman, you should not use either of them. These two products have the same effective ingredients (15% minoxidil, 5% azelaic acid, 0.025% retinol, and 0.001% caffeine) and are equally effective. The only difference is that DualGen-15 NO PG uses glycerin, whereas DualGen-15 With PG uses propylene glycol as the delivery vehicle. The use of glycerin in DualGen-15 NO PG eliminates any scalp irritation caused by propylene glycol that is seen in ~10% users. It also slows down slightly the drying time. So if you know you are allergic to propylene glycol, it is recommended to use DualGen-15 NO PG. Otherwise, you can consider DualGen-15 With PG.

Q. How long does it take to dry DualGen-15 NO PG or DualGen-15 With PG?
A. DualGen-15 takes slightly longer time than regular 5% minoxidil (such as Rogaine liquid or Kirkland 5% minoxidil) to dry due to the fact that it has larger amount of minoxidil and additional effective ingredients. If properly applied, most of the product should be absorbed within one hour. You can wash you hair 2 hours after the application. There are several ways to help absorb the solution faster: A) try to apply the solution directly to your scalp and avoid your hair by parting your hair into one or more rows to maximize the scalp exposure. The solution applied to the hair will never be absorbed by your scalp, resulting in wasting product and greasy hair; B) carefully spread the solution evenly on your scalp using your finger tips.

Q. Is a glycerin based formula less effective than a propylene glycol based formula with the same minoxidil concentration?
A. No. Both glycerin and propylene glycol are pharmacologically inactive ingredients in the minoxidil products. They are used in minoxidil solutions as solvent so minoxidil can be in solution form. In addition, their slow rate of evaporation allows the effective ingredients minoxidil to form a thin film on the scalp for continued absorption after the alcohol necessary to the base solution has penetrated.
