B. Features comparison between different products:

DualGen-15 NO PG Plus: This product is the most potent hair regrowth solution on the market. It is a topical solution, which is much more convenient to use than a cream.  It has the maximum strength of FDA approved hair growth stimulator Minoxidil 15% and DHT blocker  Finasteride 0.1%  with auxiliary ingredients Azelaic acid 5%, Retinol 0.025% and Caffeine 0.001%. This product is intended for men with advanced hair loss. It is most suitable for those who used Dualgen-15 NO PG for at least 4 month without satisfactory results. Apply no more than 1 mL of this product to the scalp in the hair loss area once a day in the evening, and use a lower strength solution such as Essengen-6 Plus, Dualgen-5, or Essengen-5 once a day in the morning.

DualGen-15 With PG Plus: This product has the same effective ingredients as Dualgen-15 NO PG Plus. The only difference is that this product has propylene glycol (PG), while Dualgen-15 NO PG Plus does not. If you are known to be allergic to PG, please choose Dualgen-15 NO PG Plus. Otherwise, it is recommended to useDualgen-15 With PG Plus as it dries faster than NO PG version.

DualGen-15 NO PG: This product has the same effective ingredients as Dualgen-15 NO PG Plus except that it does not have finasteride.  i.e., it has 15% minoxidil with azelaic acid, retinol and caffeine. People are recommended to use this product before using Dualgen-15 NO PG Plus. Reason being the addition of finasteride makes it stronger in blocking DHT in the Plus product, but it may also cause sexual side effect such as decreased libido or sex drive in some people (estimated to less than 2% users).

DualGen-15 With PG: This product has the same effective ingredients as Dualgen-15 NO PG except that this product is compounded with propylene glycol.

DualGen-10: This product contains 10% Minoxidil and 5% Azelaic Acid, which is a good balance between effectiveness and convenience.  This product contains propylene glycol. It dries slightly faster than all the DualGen-15 products. Do not use DualGen-10 if you are known to be allergic to propylene glycol. It is recommended to use this product twice daily with at least eight hours between the two applications. Alternatively, this product can be used in conjunction with a lower strength minoxidil solution (such as Essengen-6 Plus, Dualgen-5, or Essengen-5). In this case, you will use DualGen-10 once daily and the lower strength minoxidil solution once daily as well. The two applications should be at least eight hours apart.

Essengen-6 Plus: It is a 6% minoxidil solution with 0.05% topical finasteride. This is a very clean and easy to use solution that dries very fast (it dries as quickly as our Essengen-5 Fast dry, see below). For most users who are not very satisfied with regular minoxidil such as Kirkland or Rogaine, this product is a good option. The effectiveness should be better than if you use 5% minoxidil and take 1mg finasteride daily. The total amount of finasteride in 2 mL of this solution is 1mg.  That means if you use this solution twice a day at 1mL each time, you are using 1mg finasteride a day. Since you apply the solution to your scalp, the amount of finasteride that goes into your blood is expected to be less than if you take 1mg finasteride orally. Therefore, one is less likely to have side effects from finasteride compared to taking the same amount of finasteride orally.

DualGen-5 with PG: This product contains 5% Minoxidil, 5% Azelaic Acid, retinol 0.025% and Caffeine 0.001%. The additional DHT blocker (azelaic acid), minoxidil enhancer (retinol) and follicle growth stimulator (caffeine) to minoxidil at the strength level equivalent to Rogaine foam and Rogaine Extra Strength Topical solution makes this product superior to the OTC formulation. It is recommended to use this product twice a day with at least eight hours between the two applications.  It can be used in conjunction with other stronger solutions (such as DualGen-15 With PG Plus or DualGen-10). The drying time of this product is expected to be shorter than regular minoxidil such as Kirkland 5% due to the reduced amount of propylene glycol in this product.

DualGen-5 NO PG: This product contains 5% Minoxidil & 5% Azelaic Acid. It does not contain any retinol or caffeine. It does not contain any propylene glycol. It is specially formulated for those who want to have a DHT blocking reagent (azelaic acid) in addition to a hair stimulator (minoxidil) in a topical solution, or those who are concerned with the potential toxicity of propylene glycol or who  are allergic to propylene glycol. It is recommended to use this product twice daily with at least eight hours between the two applications.  It can be used in conjunction with other stronger solutions (such as DualGen-15 NO PG Plus or DualGen-10). This product also dries faster than regular minoxidil such as Kirkland 5% due to the use of a minimum amount of glycerin in this product.

EssenGen-5 Fast Dry: This product contains 5% Minoxidil in a vehicle base containing only 30% propylene glycol to help it dry much faster than regular 5% minoxidil topical solutions such as Kirkland or Rogaine solution that contains 50% propylene glycol. It also reduces greasiness and eases scalp itch caused by propylene glycol in some people. Apply this product twice daily directly to the scalp where hair loss occurs with at least eight hours between the two applications.

Essengen-5 NO PG: This product contains 5% Minoxidil as the effective ingredient. It contains no propylene glycol (PG or PPG) at all. Glycerin is used in the product in place of PG to avoid any scalp irritation. In fact, this product also dries very fast. It dries much faster than regular 5% minoxidil (such as Kirkland 5% minoxidil) due to the use of very a minimum amount of glycerin. Apply this product twice daily directly to the scalp where hair loss occurs with at least eight hours between the two applications.

Lipogaine (2% with PG): This is a for women product. It contains 2% Minoxidil together with biotin, azetinol^TM, biotin, niacin and other auxiliary effective ingredients. It is compounded with propylene glycol. Apply this product twice daily directly to the scalp where hair loss occurs with at least eight hours between the two applications. This product is intended for women, but it is safe for men to use.

Lipogaine (3% NO PG): This is a for women product. It contains 3% Minoxidil together with biotin, azetinol^TM, biotin, niacin and other auxiliary  effective ingredients. It is compounded without propylene glycol, suitable for those who are allergic to PG. Apply this product twice daily directly to the scalp where hair loss occurs with at least eight hours between the two applications. This product is intended for women, but it is safe for men to use.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS ON USING THE PRODUCT

1. To open container: open the bottle by twisting the cap counter clockwise.
2. Peel off the sealer.
3. Within the hair thinning area, part the hair into one or more rows to maximize scalp exposure.
4. Squeeze the rubber bulb of the included dropper and put it into the bottle. Release the bulb, allowing the dropper to fill to the 1 mL line. If the level of solution is above the 1mL line, squeeze the extra amount back into the bottle.
5. Place the tip of the dropper near the part of the scalp you want to treat and gently squeeze the bulb to release the solution gradually. To prevent the solution from running off the scalp, apply a small amount at a time.
6. Using your fingers, spread the liquid over the hair loss area and gently massage it into the scalp and then wash your hands well.
7. Store the product at controlled room temperature 10° C to 35° C (50° F to 95° F). Keep out of reach of children.
