OVERVIEW
  • DualGen-5: This product contains 5% Minoxidil, 5% Azelaic Acid, 0.025% retinol, and 0.001% caffeine. The additional DHT blocker (azelaic acid), minoxidil enhancer (retinol) and follicle growth stimulator (caffeine) to 5% minoxidil makes this solution much more effective than minoxidil alone. This formula is exclusively available at MinoxidilMax. It is recommended to use this product twice a day with 8 hours apart between the two applications.  It can be used in conjunction with other stronger solution (such as DualGen-15 or DualGen-10). This product is also called Dualgen-5 With PG, to differentiate it from a similar product without PG named Dualgen-5 NO PG.

     

  • New: We recently luanched a new version of Dualgen-5. It is called Dualgen-5 Fast Dry. We currently have 3 different versions of Dualgen-5, namely Dualgen-5 NO PGDualgen-5 With PG  and Dualgen-5 Fast Dry They have identical effective ingredients, and the effectiveness of these 3 products is similar to each other. They difference lies in the solvent vehicle, gentleness to scalp and drying speed.

    Dualgen-5 NO PG: Most friendly to senstive scalp. Dries slowest among the 3 products.

    Dualgen-5 Fast Dry: Dries Fastest. Friendly to sensitive scalp.

    Dualgen-5 With PG: Medium Drying Speed. Medium friendly to sensitive scalp.

RETINOL
  • Studies showed that combining minoxidil and retinol works better than minoxidil alone due to the enhanced penetration of minoxidil and improved scalp condition [ Yoo HG et al, "the additive effects of minoxidil and retinol on human hair growth in vitro." Bio Pharm Bull. 2007, 20(1): 21-6].

     

CAFFEINE
  • Studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals have shown that not only caffeine reverses the suppressive effects of Testosterone on the growth of follicle but also is a very strong stimulator of the hair follicle growth [Fisher TW et al, "Effect of Caffeine and Testosterone on the proliferation of human hair follicles in vitro" International Journal of Dematology, 6(1): 27-35].
